McKenna advocates at the Brass Ring Luncheon

This spring McKenna was an advocate for Type 1 at the annual Brass Ring luncheon. This fundraiser often raises over $500k for the Barbara Davis Center. The BDC provides research, care and education to children with Type 1 diabetes. This fundraiser helps fund the research and provide care for those that cannot afford the critical insulin they need to live. McKenna was diagnosed in 2016 and the BDC has been a lifeline for our family. McKenna was blessed to have close friends and family with her while Taylor and I were on a Spring Break ski trip.
